...even though it may seem that way.

Not that anyone's been asking, but I feel like my lack of activity (lacktivity? ... eww no, never mind) hasn't gone unnoticed since I still occasionally get new favorites and new watchers trickling in from stuff I posted almost 4 years ago. I didn't want to just leave my inactivity unaddressed, so...journal post!

So what's been keeping me busy and away from DA? Well, it's been a combination of personal life and just pursuing other hobbies. These days, aside from being busy at my day job, I've been playing video games as well as practicing music. As far as doing vector art, it's always just been something I thought of as a fun, cool, and valuable thing to learn how to do. In the future, I'll make new vectors and post them here should I feel a strong urge to, but it's not a priority for me right now so posts won't be nearly as regular or frequent as they used to. This means that if you've asked me for a request that I agreed to in the past, I'm really sorry, but I won't be fulfilling it (nor am I taking new requests). I have a lot of ideas on my creative to-do list, but none of them are new vectors. If, however, you'd like to keep up with what I'm doing, I have one of those Twitter things that people like to talk about (nameless2222), so you can follow me there! Of course, I'll continue to answer comments and messages here on DA when I get the chance.

And of course, thanks for all the views, faves, and follows over the years!

A Certain Magical Index (Toaru Majutsu no Index) - Ep 17

So, I've had this DA account for a couple years now, and I haven't really been active all that much, save for all the favorites. Recently (i.e. like, ten minutes ago), I looked at my profile and noticed that it doesn't really show much about who I am or anything, so I spontaneously decided to write this journal entry. This might be (or might not be) the one and only journal entry I ever write, because like I said, I'm not really active on DA.

So about myself: as of this journal entry's creation, I am in my second semester of college studying Computer Science. I know Java and am learning C and C++. I'm a HUGE math/science nerd - the kind that wears shirts with physics jokes on them and gets strange looks from passersby. I also happen to be a big music nerd as well, having been in orchestra playing the violin throughout middle school and high school. Along the way, I taught myself how to play piano and started downloading sheet music off the internet to learn.

I'm not very artistic at all, having very little drawing experience and only a moderate understanding of Photoshop, and I don't write any poetry or fiction, hence the lack of any posts on my profile.

To me, there's no such thing as too much anime or too many video games, but I don't really consider myself to be the stereotypical otaku/fanboy (to be honest, those body pillows with pictures of hot anime girls in suggestive poses that are really popular actually creep me out more than they turn me on). That said, I love doing random cosplay at anime conventions, looking at fanart, and all that other good stuff. I also took a couple years of Japanese in high school because of my anime fandom (which, sadly, I'm kinda losing because of lack of practice).

Well, that's all I really feel like writing about. Whether or not I post more journals in the future is totally dependent on my mood. I hope this has shed a little light on who I am!
