Poor Vinyl. They ran out as soon as she got to the front of the line, too. Don't you hate it when that happens?

Vectored in Inkscape
The colors of the eyes and tears were completely improvised, and they still don't look right to me. If you have any advice, please leave me a comment!

Download the .svg here!

EDIT: Oh crap, forgot her horn. Eh, I'll work on that tomorrow. Need sleep.

Looks nice. I'm assuming you're using a gradient for the eyes? While I won't argue they look good, the actual show does their eyes with 2 color bands to break the contrast of dark and light in the upper and lower 'iris'. As far as the tears go, I'd say you nailed it. Are the squiggles in them also semi-transparent? I'm having a hard time telling, haha.

Thank you! Yup, I used a gradient for the eyes, and the squiggles in the tears are semi-transparent. I always hesitate to do the eye highlights because I don't know what colors to make them nor do I know how to make them. I suppose it involves taking an ellipse and cutting off a sector? I remember watching a video tutorial about it, but I never put it into practice. I'll probably give it a try the next time I get the chance.

I never learned how to use the elipse tool; bezier curves seemed to make symmetrical elipses good enough while making 'off' elipses much easier. I'm learning inkscape now and the elipse tool is a little easier to use, so I'll let you know if I figure it out.

As for the colors, it's kinda up to you in a way; the show doesn't clarify, so the colors out there are fan-made anyway. I usually use someone else's colors as long as it looks right to me.

A critique that I've read for someone else's vector insisted that the ellipse tool be used for the eyes, so that's just what I've always used.

That's true. I probably just need to spend time to play around with the colors until I find ones that I like.
